Kid-Friendly Programming

It's never too early to pique children's creative interests. There's plenty of interactive, kid-friendly programming throughout the festival for the next generation of art enthusiasts to explore. 

Kids Block

A hands-on interactive block for young artists and a youth exhibition featuring over 400 student works from around the Valley – on display and for sale. The youth exhibition will be juried and winners announced at 3:15pm on Saturday at the Centerpoint Stage. Get your young creatives involved with the festival in a new way with more than 8 community partners, who will be on-site doing take away projects with young visitors!

Chalk-a-Lot Street

Where the sidewalk ends, Chalk-A-Lot Street begins! Watch expert chalk artists create original street art exhibitions and vie for prizes in the Chalk-A-Lot Chalk Mural Contest. Join the fun yourself by making your own mini-mural and receive an official Chalk-A-Lot Chalk Kit to use and take home for just $5.

Live Entertainment is stationed throughout the festival for your enjoyment, including face painters, henna artists, musicians, unicyclists, caricature artists, balloon twisters, and more.
