Chalk-A-Lot Street

Spring 2017 Application

Each festival includes a special chalk section on 4th Street that allows for professional chalk muralists to compete for awards as well as festival goers to experiment with street chalk. If you're a chalk artist, either a professional or a local teenager, and want to apply to be part of the 2017 Spring festival, please contact Lisa Brethour

Come and watch the pros as they develop their chalk murals over the three days of the festival and vote for your favorite completed piece.

And bring your children and teens to also join in the fun. Small spaces will be available to walk-up festival attendees who would like to try their hand at creating chalk art. For $5 festival-goers can purchase a commemorative box of 12 quality, colorful soft pastels to color their very own space.
